Exam Survival Care Packages

The collegiate school year is under way and fall exams will soon be approaching. The Atlanta Alumnae Chapter of Alpha Chi Omega, Alpha Gamma Alpha, will again be preparing Exam Survival Kit Care Packages for the collegiate members of Brenau, Georgia Tech, and the University of Georgia.

The Exam Survival Kit Care Packages are filled with numerous items to help your daughter through the challenging days (and late nights) of exam time. The bags are delivered to the Alpha Chi Omega house as the exam period begins and are always a nice surprise. Some of the items that will be included are listed below:

Microwave Popcorn Fruit Cups Goldfish Crackers Pringles
Assorted Chocolates Cereal Bars Oreos Apple Sauce

The total cost for Fall 2009 and Spring 2010 Exam Survival Kit Care Packages is $25.00 for both semesters. Additionally, an Alpha Chi Omega magnetic picture frame can be included in the Fall 2008 Exam Survival Kit Care Package for $6 ($31.00 total). Magnetic picture frames can be attached to a refrigerator or other metallic surfaces. See lower on this page for pictures of the frames.

All of the proceeds from the Exam Survival Kit Care Packages support Alpha Gamma Alpha and our national philanthropy of Supporting Victims of Domestic Violence.

To purchase online via PayPal, click on one of the buttons below. Please include your daughter's name and the college she attends. Also, please indicate which frame you would like included in the Fall 2009 package, if applicable. Deadline for purchase of the Exam Survival Care Package is November 23, 2009.

Limited Edition - Alpha Gamma Alpha's 75th Anniversary DVD

We have compiled our history from 1933 to 2008 for a 75th Anniversary DVD that was shown at our 75th Anniversary-Founders' Day carnation banquet. The DVD includes the story of our 1933 installation and photos of 21 of our 22 charter members which have never been seen before. There are 125 pictures of our alumnae chapter members from 1938 to 2008, including numerous photos from past Golden Lyre Galas, the installation of Delta Iota (Emory Univ.) and some photos of Tau (Brenau Univ.) collegians. We also included Beta Sigma's (UGA) 2008 recruitment video, Epsilon Phi's (GA Tech) 2008 recruitment video and the NEW Alpha Chi Omega branding video. The DVD is 33 minutes. The DVD was co-produced by Jon Smilowitz, an Emmy winning editor who works on Bold & The Beautiful soap opera in L.A. Alpha Gamma Alpha's 75th Anniversary DVD costs $20 plus $3 shipping. The cost of the DVD will cover our expenses for the production.

Aggie Steiner said, "Seeing the photos of AGA's founders and hearing their stories provided many touching moments. But when I saw that red-feather gown I wore to a Convention in the 80's, the memories flooded back and I had to buy it."

Alpha Chi Omega Key Chains

We are selling Alpha Chi magnetic picture frames. The magnetic back can be attached to a refrigerator or other metal surface. Insert a picture to see it through a clear window with an AXO surrounding frame, like this:
